Statisticals - Volunteer Enrollment
The volunteer enrollments must be entered into the Blue Ribbon program for statistical processing.
Use the Volunteer Enrollment forms. In Blue Ribbon, choose ES237 | Volunteer Group Enrollment. The screen that appears will closely parallel the form.
Notice that you must choose Type (Project, Activity, or Other). This indicates that the volunteers were involved with an identified Project or Activity area, or "Other" - for everything else. If you choose Project or Activity, you should enter the code.
"Direct" Volunteers work with children. "Indirect" do not. Nobody know what "Middle Man" means, so we don't use it.
"Duplicates" are those volunteers who have already been recorded, either because they are club members or leaders, or because they helped with a previous program. If the form doesn't indicate what the race or gender of the duplicates was, use your own best judgment (that's politically correct for "make it up".)
Don't ever use the "Mixed" ethnic category - that is not a federally-accepted ethnic category. It's in Blue Ribbon because the southern states have state reports that require its use.
When you have finished entering the information about the adult volunteers, click on the youth volunteer tab and complete that. Save and Add if you have another one to enter, otherwise Save and Exit.
