Introducing the SafeFood Newsletter, Web Page and List Serv

Welcome to the first issue of the SAFE FOOD NEWS. This newsletter is designed to provide you with news and information about food safety topics of current concern and let you know about coming events and newly available resources in the food safety area.

This newsletter is also designed to complement and promote the SafeFood Home Page and Listserv that we have established at Colorado State University as part of a CSU Extension Special Initiative grant. The newsletter is planned to be sent out quarterly. When rapid response is critical, information will be posted on the listserv and web site. Please check us out at:

The SafeFood web site includes food safety alerts and backgrounders, the newsletter, links to other food safety web sites, and information about the SafeFood project.

SafeFood Listserv: We've established a list serv mail group for professionals interested in food safety issues to share information, seek answers to sticky food safety questions, and debate issues. If you are interested in joining this group, send an e-mail message to Ruth Willson, listserv manager, at: rwillson@vines.colostate.edu.
