Small Acreage Livestock Management Workshop Offered
A Managing Livestock on Small Acreages workshop will be held on Saturday, September 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Pasture management, weed control, poisonous plants and manure management will be discussed. Information will be relevant to management of horses, llamas, alpacas, cattle and other livestock species.
Speakers from CSU Extension, Larimer County Weed Control District, CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital and the Big Thompson Conservation District will lead the sessions.
Morning seminars will be held at the McKee 4-H Building, Larimer County Fairgrounds (The Ranch). The afternoon includes a field trip to a property with a designed grazing and forage system.
Registration is $25 per person or $35 for two people from the same property. Morning refreshments will be provided, but please bring your own lunch. Please pre-register by September 10. Registration is limited to 25 participants.
