Grandparents Raising Grandchildren
Suppport Groups
Support groups help ease the journey grandparents and kinship providers experience when raising children. It is common that you may feel lost or nowhere to turn. If this is happening, we encourage you to check out a local support group in your community.
We have taken considerable time to connect with state and local agencies to find grandfamily support groups in the state. If you are currently a support group leader and we do not have your meeting listed on the website, please contact Jacque Miller at jacque.miller@colostate.edu so that we may post your information. If you find that there is not a support group in your community and you are interested in starting a grandfamily support group, please read the section on “How to start a grandfamilies support group” on this website.
